The reach also extends to the neighbouring Taluks, namely Hunsur,
Nanjangud and Gundlupet.
Established in 1998 this hospital has 24x7 emergency and critical
care facility, a full-fledged Operation Theatre, Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit, Care & Support Center for people living with HIV/AIDS,
Telemedicine link-up and a fully computerized medical records
section. It also houses a blood storage center and a Counseling &
HIV Testing Center (ICTC) – both recognized by NACO and the first of
its kind in rural India.
Constraints
SVYMH have an old X-Ray machine which is not DICOM enabled and with
their existing radiology staff found it difficult to cater to the
X-ray scans of patients.
Their founder Dr.R.Balasubramaniam approached us for a solution as
we had the expertise to provide remoter reads quickly and
efficiently.
Our talented pool of radiologists also ensured that even a
complicated or difficult case would get an expert opinion , if
required even from an American Board Certified radiologist.
We sent our IT expert to their site to study , analyze and configure
their X-ray machine to a digital scanner. The plain films were then
scanned using the scanner and the scanned image sent to us at
Bangalore through internet.
They have greatly appreciated our efforts and in our humble but
technological advanced way , we are providing Free read of their
X-rays.
