This July 2022, RxDx Healthcare and Telerad Foundation conducted a couple of physician-led bilingual virtual awareness sessions to commemorate two very significant Health Awareness Days. On 28th July 2022, Dr Ashwini N and Dr Jyotika Gupta spoke about Hepatitis. The physicians focused on imparting comprehensive information about its primary causes, the consequences of long term liver infection, age groups most vulnerable to the disease, modes of transmission and preventive measures to keep away from the infection.
To mark the significance of World ORS Day on the 29th of July 2022, Dr Jyotika Gupta conveyed crucial information on the right quantities of ORS for consumption and dosages for different age groups during illnesses.
Over 100 participants from 14 PHCs in Karnataka, MP, Maharashtra, and Gujarat attended each of the online sessions. Both sessions, highly interactive with huge participation from the beneficiaries, happened in Kannada and Hindi.
Mr Francis Danthy facilitated the web sessions with the PHCs in Bangalore.
