Long-distance truck drivers spend up to 14 hours a day on the highway with uncorrected vision. At our two highway healthcare centres the eye test is already free — the spectacles are what we run out of. ₹200 buys a complete pair, handed over the same day.

₹4,200 = one person, nine conditions

Sanjeevani

An AI-enabled mobile health unit that comes to the village. One visit screens for nine conditions — three cancers, tuberculosis, four NCDs and anaemia — with a specialist reviewing every significant finding, a teleconsultation before the person leaves, and follow-up until treatment actually starts. ₹4,200 takes one person through the whole process. Give a part of it, all of it, or more.

SAKSHAM

India needs 6.3 million more healthcare workers by 2030, but current training capacity covers only 4% of that gap — and thousands of capable young people from underserved communities can’t afford to close it themselves. SAKSHAM takes them through a 12-month, industry-aligned course — classroom learning, hands-on clinical training and certification — as a General Duty Assistant, Radiology Technician, Pharmacy Assistant or similar allied-health role, then places every graduate in a job. ₹2,50,000 covers one student’s tuition (₹5,000/month), paid PG accommodation with all meals (₹10,000/month), a living stipend (₹5,000/month), exam fees and uniform — the full year, start to finish. Questions people ask.

Do I get a tax deduction?

Yes. Donations are exempt under Section 80(G) of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. Your receipt is issued to the email address or postal address you give with your donation.

Will my money go to the project I picked?

Yes. Contributions made against a specific project in the catalogue are used for that project. If you would rather we direct it, use the general programme fund instead.

Are the unit costs real, or illustrative?

Real. Each figure is the actual procurement or delivery cost of one unit, confirmed with our finance team. Where a cost changes, we update it here rather than leaving an old number in place.

Can I visit a project?

You are welcome to. These are working clinics and field programmes, so write to info@teleradfoundation.org and we will arrange a time that doesn’t disrupt patient care.

Can I give from outside India?

At present, we do not hold an FCRA certificate and are therefore unable to accept donations from outside India.
