Phygital PHC Camp Diary: 15th October 2022 in Galag Village, Arekere Taluk, Raichur, Karnataka
The District Health Department Raichur conducted a One-Day “Arogya Mela” jointly with four Primary Health Centres across Arekere Taluk namely Galag, Arekere, Gobburu and Masarkal.
More than 1000 beneficiaries received consultations from the Arogya Mela.
Hon’ble Revenue Minister of Karnataka, Shri R Ashoka, Hon’ble MLA of Arekere Taluk, Shri K Shivanagouda Naik and many esteemed dignitaries were present for the inaugural ceremony of the health camp.
Phygital PHC Galag was also a part of the health mela conducted at Arekere Taluk.
A total of 145 patients were screened by the Galag Phygital PHC staff Mr Rajshekar for health issues like Hypertension and Diabetes. Amongst them, 35 individuals diagnosed with diabetes and hypertension received consultation from the RxDx-Telerad Foundation specialists based out of Bengaluru.
The Phygital PHC project is a Bayer Foundation India initiative managed by Telerad Foundation and RxDx Healthcare.
