Phygital PHC Camp Diary: 21st December 2022 at Anvara Village near Galag PHC, Devadurga Taluk, Raichur, Karnataka
The District Health Department Raichur conducted a One-Day “Arogya Mela” jointly with ICICI Bank Foundation.
More than 500 beneficiaries received consultations from the Arogya Mela.
ICICI Bank Manager Mr. Venugopal, Dr Banadeshwar -THO, Dr Akilesh, MO – Galag PHC, Mr Sunil and Ms Deepthi – CHO and Panchyat Members and many esteemed dignitaries were present for the inaugural ceremony of the Arogya Mela.
Phygital PHC Galag was also a part of the Arogya Mela conducted at Anvara Village.
A total of 80 patients were screened by the Galag Phygital PHC staff Mr Rajashekar for health issues like Hypertension and Diabetes. Amongst them, 25 individuals diagnosed with diabetes and hypertension received consultation from the RxDx-Telerad Foundation specialists based out of Bengaluru.
The Phygital PHC project is a Bayer Foundation India initiative managed by Telerad Foundation and RxDx Healthcare.
RxDx-Telerad Foundation thanks all the community mobilisers, including ASHA and Anganwadi workers, for contributing to the mobilization and awareness creation activities.
