Phygital PHC FPO Camp Diary: 15th March 2023 at Khamaswadi Village, Khallamb Taluk, Osmanabad, Maharashtra
An Eye Screening and Diabetic Health Camp was conducted on 15th March 2023 for the farmers associated with Grant Thornton Farmers Producer Company (FPC) at Khamaswadi Village, Kallamb Taluk, Osmanabad District, Maharashtra.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Khamaswadi FPC Chairman Mr Ashok Garad and village Sarpanch Shri Amal Patil
Mr Shankar Garad (BOD), Mr Chandrakanth Randhive (BOD) and Ms Nandini Garad (Manager) from Khamaswadi FPC and Mr Mahendra and Mr Sarvesh from Telerad Foundation represented the TF team at the camp.
Other notable guests such as village Panchayat members, ASHA and Anganwadi workers were also present.
Total 123 beneficiaries were screened for eye problems, Diabetic Retinopathy 55 and Refractive Error 68, to be specific.
A total of 48 beneficiaries received consultation in the camp via teleconsultation. They received physician consultations for Diabetes, Hypertension, ENT, Gynaecology and other general Health problems.
Phygital PHC staffs Ms Mayuri lead the camp facilities.
Generic medicines were supplied for the camp by the Health Department Maharashtra.
