Breathing Easier: Bayer Foundation India donates PFT machine to Enhance Respiratory Care under its telehealth programme
Bayer Foundation India upgrades its Phygital PHCs with PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) machine, thereby improving access to advanced diagnostics in rural areas. It is a type of diagnostic test that is used to measure how well your lungs are working. This test can help diagnose respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pulmonary fibrosis.
Ms Dhanalakshmi R, CSR Business Partner - Strategic Projects & Stakeholder Engagement, Bayer Foundation India, handed over the EasyOne Air Portable Spirometry Kit to the RxDx & Telerad Foundation Team which is implementing the telehealth project in 14 locations across 4 states.
The TrueFlow technology-enabled EasyOne Air Spirometer is an enhanced lung-capacity detector requiring minimum manual intervention for conducting resipratory tests. The Spirometer will be deployed for efficient and fast pulmonary function tests by our TF team at our PHC Centres across all fours states.
Mr Naveen Kumar Ready and Mr Prem from JK Medical Systems assisted with the demonstration of the EasyOne Air Spirometer. Ms Dhanalakshmi reviewed the training process and the device application.
