Nagarhal and Galag Phygital PHCs, Raichur, Karnataka
On September 13, 2022, RxDx and Telerad Foundation organised an event to felicitate the ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers at Nagarhal and Galag PHCs in Raichur, Karnataka, in appreciation of their immense dedication and support to the Phygital PHC telehealth services.
Phygital PHC Nagarhal was part of the General Health Mela conducted at the grama panchayath premises. 59 ASHA workers from two PHCs were honoured in this programme.
The ASHA workers have been instrumental in the successful implementation of the health services across all the 14 Phygital PHC telehealth initiatives across 5 districts of Karnataka, MP, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. The felicitation programme is going to cover all PHC locations over the next few weeks.
The Phygital PHC project is a Bayer Foundation India initiative implemented with the support of the respective State Health departments.
Telerad Foundation thanks all the community mobilizers including ASHA and Anganwadi workers for their kind contribution to the mobilization and awareness creation activities.
