    Dr Naveen Kalra is presently holding the position of a professor at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. He is the General Secretary of the Society for Emergency Radiology. He is the Associate Editor of Journal of Clinical Interventional Radiology and also the reviewer for several national and International Journals.Currently he also serves as the President, State Branch of ISVIR (CH, PB and HP). He has published 185 papers and has given approximately 186 lectures.

    Jennifer Uyeda, MD, FASER

    Jennifer Uyeda, MD, FASER is currently an emergency and abdominal radiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she serves as the Associate Division Chief of Emergency Radiology. Dr. Uyeda completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Boston University Medical Center and a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is currently a member of the American Society of Emergency Radiology (also a fellow of ASER), Society of Abdominal Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and American Roentgen Ray Society and has given numerous lectures in various national meetings. She served as former Associate Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the former Associate Clerkship

    Mark Bernstein, MD, FASER

    Session: Imaging Cervical Spine Trauma: Pearls and Pitfalls

    Mark Bernstein, MD, is a trauma and emergency radiologist at Boston University School of Medicine/Boston Medical Center. Before his recent start in Boston, he served 19 years at New York University (NYU) Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. Born and raised in Toronto, Mark completed his residency at Western University, Ontario, Canada, and his fellowship in Trauma Radiology at the University of Maryland, Shock Trauma Center. He began his academic career in 2003 establishing a new Emergency Radiology section at NYU/Bellevue where he expanded the focus and diagnosis of trauma. He compiled a series of comprehensive whole-body trauma CT protocols for three level 1 trauma centers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island, New York allowing patients to undergo a complete diagnostic evaluation in a single visit. At NYU/Bellevue he served as the trauma radiology liaison for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) accreditation proceedings.

    As an author of multiple scientific publications and book chapters, Dr. Bernstein has gained international acclaim for his expertise in trauma radiology and has lectured extensively around the world on various topics related to trauma radiology. In 2016 Dr. Bernstein was elected as President of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, and in 2018 was honored to receive the ASER Gold Medal Award in recognition of career-long service to the society and the emergency radiology community as a whole. He has been deeply involved in resident and medical student teaching, and in 2017 won the NYU teacher of the year award.

    Currently, Dr. Bernstein sits on the ACS Best Practice Guidelines Committee for trauma imaging, the ACS Committee on Trauma, and the ACR Committee on Emergency Radiology.

    Claire Sandstrom, MD, FASER

    Session: Wrist Trauma

    Claire Sandstrom is an Emergency Radiologist at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She joined as the Radiology Department faculty at University of Washington in the section of Emergency and Trauma Radiology.

    She is chair of the Fellow Education Committee of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, as a member of the Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee for RSNA, and as an expert representative on several ACR Appropriateness Criteria Panels.

    Suzanne Chong, MD, MS, FASER

    Dr Chong completed her fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of Michigan and joined as a founding member of the Emergency Radiology division, subsequently serving as its division director for a decade.

    She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Temple University School of Medicine, and the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and is pursuing her MBA at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She has published numerous peer-reviewed publications and won multiple awards for excellence in teaching and educational presentations. Her research interests focus on abdominal and emergency radiology, quality, and practice management.
