The Problem

Talent isn’t the barrier here. Tuition is.

India’s healthcare system is growing faster than its workforce. Hospitals, diagnostic centres, telemedicine and community health programmes all need trained hands — but the country trains only a fraction of the allied healthcare professionals it will need.

At the same time, thousands of capable young people — many from rural and low-income households — have the aptitude for a healthcare career and no way to pay for the training that would get them one. The qualification is not out of reach because of ability. It is out of reach because of ₹2,50,000.

    WHAT ALREADY EXISTS

    A working programme

SAKSHAM has been training and placing students since 2022. The curriculum is built and aligned to Healthcare Sector Skill Council standards, the clinical training partnerships are in place, and the placement network already exists. None of that needs funding to be created — it needs funding to reach the next student.

The classroom, the labs and the hospitals are already there. What’s missing for the next student is the ₹2,50,000 that carries them from enrolment to their first day on the job.
    WHAT ₹2,50,000 ACTUALLY COVERS

One fee. Everything a student needs for the year.

    Tuition Fees

    TUITION

    Course fee & materials

₹5,000/month tuition for the 12-month course, plus course materials and simulation-lab access.

    Certificate

    CERTIFICATION

    Exams & assessment

₹1,000 per exam across 4 assessments — every examination fee required to get certified.

    On the job

    ON THE JOB

    Uniform & essentials

₹2,000 per set across 3 sets — the uniform and essentials a student needs to train in a clinical setting from day one.

    LIVING SUPPORT

    Stipend & stay

₹5,000/month stipend, plus ₹10,000/month paid PG accommodation with all meals — for the full year.

A student who has to worry about rent or a meal isn’t fully present in a clinical training session. The stipend and accommodation aren’t extras — they’re what makes it possible to actually finish the year.

    BEFORE YOU GIVE

    Questions people ask.

Yes. Telerad Foundation is a registered charity in India and donations are exempt under Section 80(G) of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. Ketto issues the receipt to the email address you donate with.

Contributions to this campaign are used exclusively for SAKSHAM training seats. If your gift covers the full ₹2,50,000, it funds one student’s entire year and, where consent allows, we will share who that student is. Smaller gifts are pooled toward the next student’s full sponsorship.

Any amount helps. The giving levels above show what smaller gifts fund directly — a month’s stipend, a term of training — and every contribution is pooled toward completing the next student’s full year.

    Yes, you may.

You are welcome to. These are working training centres and clinical placement sites, so write to info@teleradfoundation.org and we will arrange a time that doesn’t disrupt training or patient care.

One student, one year, one healthcare career.

The classroom is ready. The hospital placement is arranged. The only open question is who gets to walk in.
