The Diabetes Screening Camp by Telerad Foundation featured in Kannada daily newspapers Hosa Digantha, Kannada Prabha, Samyukta Karnataka, Samyukta Vijaya and Vijayavani Patrike.

At present, the tally of the diabetes victims in India is approximately 80 million. Every year we find a geometric progression in this category of the disease-affected. Therefore, Diabetes Awareness continuous to be in the static priority mode of public health in our country. Envisioning this aspect as the ‘need of the hour’, Telerad Foundation recently conducted an exclusive Diabetes Screening camp on Feburary 17, 2023 at the eArogyaKendra at Begur, Hosakote Taluk, Bangalore Rural district. The camp was sponsored by AkzoNobel India.

The camp featured exclusive diabetes screening, consultation with Dr Latha C, General Practitioner, Telerad Foundation and further consultations with diabetologists via telehealth based on GP recommendation, diet counselling, and medicine distribution.

Diabetes Management is a multi-dimensional step requiring focus on sugar control in diet, disciplined exercise routine and regular screening to measure the level of glucose in blood.
