Hemant Sinha from Chhattisgarh is a commercial painter with Dulux. He works hard and cares deeply for his family, especially his mother, Geeta Sinha. She had what seemed like a bad cold, but it persisted for several months and was accompanied by excruciating body aches. Struggling through the challenges of pandemic lockdowns, Hemant wondered how he could help his mother find relief.

AkzoNobel India pointed Hemant towards the AarogyaSakha project. His mother had several teleconsultations with RxDx physicians, and their prescriptions for medications and home remedies soon got rid of her cold symptoms and body pain. By the time the doctors followed up to check on her, Geeta had become much more confident about the process and technology, and was back to taking care of her son and family.

Mantora Sinha, Hemant’s grandmother, was having trouble sleeping. Through teleconsultation, the doctors devised a pre-sleep regimen that significantly improved the quality of her sleep.

Telehealth brought the best physicians within easy reach of a family many hundreds of kilometres away. Hemant was very happy that AarogyaSakha helped these two ladies get back to being the heart of his loving family.
