Phygital PHC in Jawar (Khandwa, MP) participated in the Health Mela organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations across the country under National Health Mission.
Medical / Healthcare Services during the event
During the event, over 1200 community members received teleconsultations and some in-clinic consultations. Instant golden cards (aside from the ABHA IDs) were generated for beneficiaries who requested for same during the event. The cards were registered with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission. Many pregnant women registered themselves under the RCH scheme. Gynaecology, Paediatric, ENT, Medicine, Dental, Orthopaedic and Physiotherapy OPD services were extended to patients. AYUSH provided free medicines both allopathic and ayurvedic to the public.
Awareness programme as part of the event
The public attended awareness programme on importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Skilled YOGA professionals under the Ayush banner conducted training session for the mass. COVID 19 vaccination facility was also provided to the attendees of the mela.
